My image of the steam locomotive represents the Jubilee Class Vindictive, quite a strange but interesting name! In the final days of there lives, steam locos were allowed to deteriorate in a rather sad manner as depicted in the painting. Light, limited as it was, plays an important part in the composition as can be seen.
